Our standard fragrance range has an expected longevity of approximately 7-9 days. Our premium fragrance has an expected longevity of approximately 14-20 days. This is subject to the environment the smelly is hanging and some scents tend to last longer than others.

If you haven't opened your smelly we have an expected shelf life of 12 months. Smellys stored in a cool, dry and dark area will last longer than 12 months - but you may slowly find degrading of the scents and inks in your design. In saying that; our own brand ones have lasted in some cases even for 2 or 3 years when we have previously bulk ordered with only minimal scent and ink degradation.

Yes, and no. We don't offer free samples due to the custom nature of our business - however should you want to smell scents before committing to a larger order we can ship you a sample pack. We do have a small charge for sample packs to cover our costs and freight. Email us at hello@smellykiwi.co.nz to request a sample pack.

Orders >500 include 1 scent option. Orders of 1000 include up to 2 scent options. Orders of 3000 include up to 3 scent options. Orders 5000+ include up to 4 scent options.

We offer customised sizes and shapes. In most cases a standard size smelly will be a maximum of 9cm tall or wide depending on the shape you choose. As for shapes the skys the limit. Most designs we do are sorted to either a cutout that follows the shape of your existing logo or design; otherwise a circle, square or rectangle are the most common. We can create whatever shape you like so let us know your wildest dreams. Operate an automotive business? What about a car shape! Maybe you own a gym? Let us do a dumbbell shape! You imagine it - we'll create it.

Each smelly is individually bagged in a fresh-lock sealed bag and labelled with your scent choice.

We can provide custom hang-sell/retail packaging on a case by case basis so please contact us if you're interested.

We're here to create what you need. If you have very specific requirements we recommend consulting a graphics designer to then provide us a complete design; or otherwise we have a premium design service for $199 which uses professionals to bring your dreams to life.

We offer an absolutely free standard design service with your smellys. This takes your logo and any basic requests such as contact information, a slogan or qr code - alongside your brand colours. If you're unsure we can offer some guidance. All smellys are double sided with the same design replicated on both sides as standard. We can offer unique sides (different designs on either side) for absolutely no charge on order quantities of 1000 or more - or for a small additional charge on orders of 500 or less.
