Our standard fragrance lasts approximately 7–14 days of in-car use. Our premium fragrance (+30% strength) lasts approximately 14–20 days. Some scents naturally last longer than others, and heat, humidity and ventilation all affect how quickly a Smelly releases its fragrance. If you haven't opened your Smelly, expected shelf life is approximately 12 months stored in a cool, dry, dark place. They'll often last longer than that — we've seen our own bulk batches last 2–3 years with only minor scent and ink fading.

Almost any shape, up to roughly 9 cm at the widest point. The most common shapes are a cutout matching your logo, or simple geometric ones — circle, square, rectangle. But we love getting creative: car shapes for automotive businesses, dumbbells for gyms, paw prints for pet brands. Tell us what you've imagined and we'll build it.

Each smelly is individually bagged in a fresh-lock sealed bag and labelled with your scent choice. We can provide custom hang-sell/retail packaging on a case by case basis so please contact us if you're interested.

Orders >500 include 1 scent option. Orders of 1000 include up to 2 scent options. Orders of 3000 include up to 3 scent options. Orders 5000+ include up to 4 scent options.

Yes — we don't do free samples because everything we make is custom, but we offer sample packs at a small charge to cover materials and freight. Email hello@smellykiwi.co.nz to request one.

Three paths: Standard design — free. We take your logo, brand colours, and any extras (slogan, contact info, QR code) and prepare your artwork. Includes 2 revision rounds and a digital proof for your approval. Premium design — $199. For more complex designs: cartoons, mascots, illustrations, tricky layouts. Includes up to 3 design concepts and 3 revision rounds. You supply print-ready artwork — no design fee. Send us your file and we'll print it. You're responsible for quality, dimensions and copyright clearance. All Smellys are double-sided with the same design on both sides as standard. If you'd like different designs across one order — e.g. a 1,000-unit run split four ways — that's a flat $50 per additional design beyond the first.
